Welcome to Fairchild Education and Training! We are here to help meet your professional and personal education needs. We have five on-base schools to serve our Fairchild community and typically we offer five school terms each year. We are ready to provide counseling and assistance with establishing educational goals and answering a wide range of questions. Our overview brochure provides additional detail. Free Study Skills Class
The Base Education Center is hosting a free Study Skills Class on Sep. 8. The seminar is designed for military, civilians, or dependants who are starting college, returning to college after a long absence, or just wanting to improve thier study skills. The primary focus will be to introduce individuals to time management in order to balance the demands of school and work. Other modules include: memory, reading for comprehension, and test taking tips. In addition, students will asses their learning style, make a study calendar, and establish goals.
The study skills class will be conducted at the Base Education Center in Room 105 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with lunch from noon to 1:00 p.m. Reservations are necessary. To register, please contact the Base Education Center at 247-2340.

OSD Announces Resumption of My Career Advancement Acounts (MyCAA)
announces the program will resume on Oct. 25. The program has undergone significant adjustments to ensure program sustainability. Changes include a maximum benefit of $4,000 for a time limit of 3 years to eligible spouses of service
