Aerobic Class Descriptions:

30/30
It is 30 minutes of core concentration followed by 30 minutes of similar to the 'butts and guts' class.
Brazilian Capoeira

This is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines
elements of martial arts, games, music, and dance. It was created in Brazil by slaves brought from Africa.
Butts & Guts
This 60-minute class will begin with 30-minutes of work in the gluts, hamstrings and low back, followed by 30-minutes of abdominal exercises and stretching.  The class is sure to target, and burn, your “problem areas”!
Cardio Sculpt with arm or leg concentration
You will utilize weights to target the upper body or lower body while doing very basic floor aerobics to bring your heart rate up.  One day you may do kickboxing for the cardio and another you may do circuits or step.  This will keep the work out from becoming stale.  This is a great class for beginners or a more advanced lifter, because you are in control of how much weight you want to lift.
HEAT (High Energy Athletic Training)
Just like the name says. Pace yourself or push the limits, in this ultimate workout. The combination of sport specific drills and relays teamed with callisthenic and plyometric drills, utilizes your body to its fullest.  There’s a reason athletes look the way they do, and if you train like one you to can look like one.
Indoor Cycling AKA "Spin"

A revolutionary new group exercise program using indoor cycling bikes. This class combines the aerobic benefits of group exercise with the fun and excitement of world class racing. Beginner to advanced fitness levels are encouraged to join as the class is self-paced and self-challenging with speed and resistance.
* 30 min. Indoor Cycling & 30 min. Ab:
Express 30 min. endurance ride with 30 min. of core work.
* Interval Indoor Cycling:
The Class is high-low interval training, this to create muscle confusion and to bring your heart rate from recovery to anaerobic.
* Indoor Cycling with Push-ups: New - (description to come)
* Strength Indoor Cycling:
Strength training so if you love hills this is the day for you.

Kick-butt Kick-boxing
 A fusion of kick boxing, aerobics, and sport drills set to great music.  This class will melt away the extra calories and target the core section.  Beginners are welcome since it is set up as a circuit you can always go at your own pace.
Monday Madness
Finally a class that is sure to set the pace for the rest of your work week.  This class is a high energy cardio classes.  Any fitness level may attend but be prepared to push yourself to new levels.  Steps are utilized along with floor moves and circuit intervals to help get your heart rate up and keep it there.  The last 15mins of class will focus on core strength and flexibility. 
Monster Boot Camp
Need help passing your PT test? Need tips on better push-ups or sit-ups that you want to count? This is a six week physically challenging course designed to improve members fitness level and test scores for those enrolled in FIP.
Muscle Mania
1 hour of nothing but weights.  New in the gym or just wanting to change it up, then this is the class for you.  Muscle balance and proper form are key here.  Pyramids, stackers, heavy or light your muscles will never know what to expect.   You will be amazed at how much stronger you will become while developing great muscle tone and definition.
Pilates
Designed to keep you flexible, strong and lean.  This workout will calm the mind and strengthen the body using a diverse series of movement to build the core and lean out all of the trouble areas.  All levels welcome!
Power Yoga
A dynamic flowing sequence of postures linking breath and movement.  Practice begins with postures to warm up all major muscles and joints, and then moves into a challenging series to build core strength, flexibility, and endurance.

Weekend Warrior
Get your weekend started off right with this one hour intense body sculpting classes. Cardio is fused into this class along with weights, isometrics and core conditioning to blast you into shape and burn off the effects of your Friday night. You will leave with a clear head and a toned body ready to enjoy the rest of your weekend. All levels are welcome.
Zumba
A fusion of Latin music and easy to follow moves that creates a dynamic fitness program.  This will make you love working out and will keep you coming back for more.  You can achieve long-term benefits and have a blast doing it. This is a one hour calorie burning-energizing-motivating, dance your way to a healthy life workout.
Zumba Tone
This class takes the fun and benifit of Zumba's latin music dynamic fitness program to the next level. Weights are added to maximize your workout and give your body more tone.

Combat Hapkido
The style employs joint locks, pressure points,
throws, hand strikes, and low-lying kicks to either counter or preemptively strike an imminent attack to defend one-self by establishing control of an opponent
through force redirection and varied movement to gain advantage through footwork, distractive striking and body positioning to employ leverage.
Shotokan

Shotokan is a style of karate, developed from various martial arts by Gichin Funakoshi (1868-1957) and his son Gigo (Yoshitaka) Funakoshi (1906-1945).
