Library
A wealth of information awaits you at the Base Library. Our collection includes books for all ages, DVDs, CD-ROMs, magazines, audio books on tape, CD, and MP3, music on CD, CLEP and DANTES study materials, new releases and special collections.
All military members and their families, military retirees and their family members, DOD civilians and their family members, DOD contractor personnel working at Fairchild, and on-base students are eligible for library accounts. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must provide identification and sign the application.

Summer Reading Program
“Voyage to Book Island”
Jun. 1 - Aug. 31. Pick up a reading log at the Library to record the titles of the books you read for this summer’s incentive program.
Children’s Program: 11 years and under
* Get Creative event Jun. 29 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. We’ll be making paper aquariums.
* Jul. 20
from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. We’ll be making whales out of styrofoam cups and going on a treasure hunt.
* Carnival Aug. 17 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. with games, prizes, crafts and treats on the Library patio!
Teen Program: 12 - 18 years
* For every log filled out, receive an entry in the grand prize drawing for an AAFES gift card.
Adult Program: Over 18 years
* Pick up an entry form with space for a book review for each qualifying book you check out. Return it for a chance to win an AAFES gift card.

Chocolate for the Spouse's Soul

* 1 - 2:30 p.m. at the Library
Join us for chocolate, coffee, crafts and conversation. Sample some treats. Chat about your favorite books, military life, or whatever else might be on your mind. Work on a fun and simple craft project. No one available to watch the kids? No, problem, we’ll have a crafty activity to keep them occupied as well.
