Note: All Family Oasis events are FREE. For more information about the classes listed above or to volunteer, please contact Tad Miles at 247-2619 or Jane Drake at 247-5336. Each class, except for the playgroups, requires a 24 hour registration to ensure an adequate amount of supplies are available. Please call Tad Miles with reservations. To respect official functions the Deel Community Center may house, the Family Oasis will be closed for select periods of time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Class Descriptions:
Book Swap
Mon. - Fri. from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Give a book... take a book!!! One for one swap with occasional specials. Adult and children books available, so stop by the Oasis.
Children’s Story Hour
Come listen to a great story for FREE in the Family Oasis. This event is held every other Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Come Sing with Me
10 - 11 a.m. Come out and play with a variety of musical instruments and learn new songs.
Deployment Activity for Parents & Children
9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Description will change each month. See above for details.
Deployed Spouse’s Discussion Group
4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Spend a little time talking with other spouses about how to prepare for and cope with deployment and reintegration.
Open Resource Day
Every Monday . Come and see all that the Family Oasis has to offer.
Playgroup
3 - 4:30 p.m.; Thursdays from 3 - 4:30 p.m.; and Fridays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Open to everyone with children. No need to sign up.
