Aquatic Center
(Indoor & Outdoor Pool)
The Aquatic Center in staffed by American Red Cross certified Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors. Whether you are a trained swimmer or a beginner, our staff can help meet your aquatic related fitness needs.
Note: The Survival School's local mission-critical training requirements have increased due to the major oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Starting 7 June 2010, the indoor pool will close for morning lap swim at 1200 hrs instead of 1300 hrs every Monday. Also, the indoor pool will no longer be open for Tuesday morning operations from 0600-1300. The revised hours in the indoor pool are intended as a temporary solution until water training can resume in the Gulf. The heated outdoor pool will open on 12 Jun and will provide additional swimming opportunities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Lap Swim (FREE for all users)
Whether you are looking to prepare for a triathlon or just exercise, lap swimming is a great way to meet all of your fitness needs. We have fins, kick boards and pull buoys available for your use. Any time the Aquatic Center is open, a minimum of one lap lane is available with the exception of Novice Swim Team.
Open Swim (Five & under FREE / All others $1.50)
Bring the whole family!!! Open swim is a fun and affordable way to entertain all ages! Slide and diving board available.
Water Aerobics (All users $2.50 / 10 Punch Card $22 / 20 Punch Card $40)
This is an excellent method of lower impact exercise which improves the fitness of your heart and lungs, reduces body fat, and tones the body. This class offers something for ALL abilities.
Locker Rentals (Day Use FREE / Individual for one month $5 / Individual for one year $50)
Swim Lessons All swim lessons are taught by our American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors. We offer group lessons for youth ages 3-17 and private lessons for all ages including adults. Group lessons are $30 per sessions and private lessons are $10 per half hour.
Pool Parties
The Aquatic Center is available for private pool parties. Pool parties are available on Saturday evenings from 6-8 p.m. and includes use of the main pool, kiddy pool, diving board, and slide. Cost is $100. Make your reservation today!!!
Teen Night
First Friday of every month is teen night!!! FREE swimming from 6-10 p.m. for all teens between the ages of 13-18.
FREE Family Swim Day
Please join us the first Sunday of each month from noon - 6 p.m. for FREE family swim day (when the Outdoor Pool isn't open).
* Family Swim Day will be at the Outdoor Pool from noon - 5 p.m. on Sep. 5.
Baby & Me
Moms and Dads… bring your baby (under the age of three) to our Baby and Me class. This class is held every Tuesday at 11 a.m. There is no need to register, just show up and be ready for a good time! Cost is $1 for parent and child.

Novice Swim Team ($30 per month)
Join the AQUA AVIATORS!!! This is a novice swim team geared toward kids under the age of 18. The team focuses on stroke technique and endurance building.
Masters Swim Team (FREE)
The masters swim team is designed for ages 18 and older and welcomes ALL swimming abilities. The team practices year round and is a great way to improve and develop your strokes.
