Fairchild AFB Teen Center offers Open Recreation for youth ages 9 -18 (and still in High School). Our purpose is to provide social and recreational activities that are age appropriate, educational, and entertaining for youth when school is not in session. In our program, we offer supervised environments that are safe and enriching for youth. Individual interests, experiences, abilities, and needs guide the programming in the areas of STEM, character and leadership, health and life skills, sports and fitness, career and education, and the arts offering youth opportunities to develop positive self-concept, ethnic and cultural awareness and appreciation, and academic success. FAFB Teen Center is affiliated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and partners with Washington State 4-H. Curriculum from both entities is incorporated into offered programming and activities.
Membership: Benefits of membership include daily admittance to Open Recreation programs and activities, occasional free activities, programs, and field trips. Membership fees are as follows:
$120 annual (12 month) membership
$30 summer only (June-August) membership
$5 per day Non-Members (Drop in visitor): Open Recreation
Please note: The Teen Center is not childcare. Youth have more freedoms and more levels of responsibility and therefore have greater expectations on issues related to maturity and accountability.
