Teen Camps
Air Force Services Agency is pleased to announce the call for Teen Aviation, Teen Leadership & Space Camp. Teens interested in applyting for these camps must complete the electronic Summer Camp Nomination/Registration Form and submit the package to their installation Youth Programs Director. Teens must complete one Nomination/Registration Form per camp.
Note: Only applications in their original format with digital signature will be accepted. Scanned applications will not be accepted.
The suspense for Aviation, Space and Teen Leadership Camps is Feb. 24. Final selections for all camps will be announced by Apr. 20. Airline and POV travel costs to each camp are the responsibility of the attendee or their installation. Lodging, meals, and program cost will be centrally funded at no cost to the participant or their installations. Call the Youth Center at 247-5601.

College Knowlege Events
On Feb. 3 & 4, High School teens will have an opportunity to tour Eastern Washington University. Feb. 3rd will include a site-specific tour of the Robotics lab and the new EWU Recreation Center. On Feb. 4th, teens will receive a general tour of the EWU campus. Space is limited and advanced reservations are required.
On Feb. 23, the Teen Center and the Airmen & Family Readiness Center will host a Young Adult Financial Aid Information night from 5:30-7:00pm at the Deel Community Center. Eastern Washington University and Whitworth College will discuss financial aid options and different ways to finance a college education.

Teen Dating Violence
Attention Parents of High School Aged Teens: The Teen Center and the Family Advocacy will present an information brief on Teen Dating Violence at the Teen Center on February 21st at 4:00pm. This brief will be approximately 30 minutes long and include relevant information about risk factors in today's teen dating environment. Participants do not have to be members of the Teen Center to participate, but an RSVP is requested. Please call the Teen Center or Ms Ruth Sunde at Family Advocacy for more information. Financial Aid Information Night
for High School Teens
When: Feb. 23, 2012
Where: Deel Community Center
Time: 5:40 - 7 p.m.
Sponsored by the FAFB Teen Center and The School Liason Office. This event will be hosted by the FAFB Teen Council for high school teens and their parents. There is no registrations fee, but attendees are asked to RSVP by Feb. 17. For more information, contact the Teen Center at 247-8043.

One Page at a Time
Join in this reading program today and earn incentive prizes for every book that you read between now and March 9, 2012. All Fairchild AFB youth ages 5 to 13 are eligible to participate in this program. The first step in this program is to register with the Youth Center and pick up a Reading Log Form. Then…
* Select an age appropriate book to read.
* Annotate completion of a book on the Registration and Reading Log Form.
* Have an adult sign the form that the participant has completed the book.
At the close of the interim and final closeout dates (30 Dec 11 and 9 Mar 12) the participant returns the Registration and Reading Log Form to the Youth Center. Youth Programs will then submit your reading achievements to HQ Air Force and shortly after that you will receive your prizes.
