Youth Center
School Age Program (SAP):
The Nationally Accredited SAP offers Before and After School care for youth in grades 1-6. Full day camps are available during the summer, winter, and spring breaks. Affiliations with the
Boys & Girls Clubs of America, 4H, and Air Force programming provide activities that meet the developmental needs of youth. Registration and enrollment are required and fees are based on total family income.

Give Parents a Break (GPAB)
is Sep. 11 from Noon - 4 P.M. Certificate families with a deployed member can recieve child care for FREE (with a referral). Registration deadline is Sep. 7. GPAB is the second Saturday of every month at the Youth Center and CDC.

33rd Annual Pride Run
This 5K run for youth ages 6-18 and adult divisions (19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) will be held Sep. 25 at Miller Park. Awards will be given out for all age divisions in both Male and Female Categories. A squadron team award will be given to the squadron that has the lowest combined times with a minumum and maximum of 5 runners per squadron team. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the run begins at 9 a.m. Pre-registration is required, and must be completed at the Youth Center. Registration fee is $5 for children 6-12, and $10 for all registrations ages 13+. Registration begins Sep. 1 with a deadline of Sep.17. For more information, contact the Youth Center at 247-5601. BGCA Day for Kids
Free at the Funspot Sep. 25 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
* Large 2 Topping Pizza and Pitcher of Soda $12
* 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Free Admission to the inflatable area
* 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Free use of the batting cages
* 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Free Bowling (2 lanes set aside for Youth Bowling, a max of 2 games per person, depending on availability)

Before & After School Program
The Before and After School Program will begin the week of Aug. 30. Aug. 30 - Sep. 1 will be All Day Outs in the program (additional fees will apply) since the first day of the school year for the children will be Sep. 2. Registration packets are available at the Youth Center front desk starting Aug. 2 for current Summer Camp
families and Aug. 16 for open registration. Children must be entering first grade for the 2010 - 2011 school year to be eligible.

Child/Youth Programs and Fitness Programs have partnered together to promote the importance of healthy lifestyle choices and encourage Air Force Families to be active together.
