In honor of Women's History Month, here are 4 ways to celebrate at Fairchild throughout the month of March. Grab a friend or make a new one at one of these excellent events.

Strong Bodies, Strong Minds: Female Fitness Experience

Friday, March 4

6 PM – 7:30 PM

Fitness Center

Join us for a fitness training experience for females seeking comfort and confidence in fitness. This event will consist of coaching from female personal trainers, a weight-training session, and nutrition and wellness resource sharing.

Woman-Owned Vendor Day

Saturday, March 12

11 AM – 4 PM

Base Exchange

A vendor showcase featuring 15 to 20 female business owners and their products. Products will be available for purchase.

Females in Film: Black Widow Movie Night

Friday, March 18

6 PM

Base Theater

From Marvel Studios, this action-packed, spy thriller starring Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, is the story of Natasha Romanoff confronting her history as a spy, and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. This movie night dedicated to the empowerment of women. Join us in watching this film that showcases female resilience and strength.

Restore Our Power: Human-Trafficking and Domestic Violence Awareness Panel

Friday, March 25

6 PM – 7:30 PM (including the closing 30-minute mingling period)

Base Chapel

A panel featuring experts versed in the topics of human-trafficking and domestic violence. Survivors of human-trafficking and domestic violence will also be present to share their stories, those which encapsulate the strength, compassion, and resilience of women faced with trauma. The Jonah Project will be in attendance as a community resource.
