Let Your Child Teach you to Play!

According to Psychology Today playing with your child helps them develop all sorts of skills: social and self-control skill sets, motor skills, peer group leadership, cognitive development and it also lowers their stress levels. And parents experience benefits as well. When you play, your body releases the hormone oxytocin which plays a role in parent-child bonding, it also helps you de-stress too!

At Fairchild this month, we've opened the Alder House which has an indoor sports court and an enchanted treehouse, it's the perfect place to play with your child. The Father-Daughter Dance, which is open to the whole family, is Saturday, March 14th. You can dance with your child to classic 70's tunes and enjoy a milkshake, door prizes, games and more.
