Get to Know the Tools
Come out the the Wood Crafts Center located next to Arts & Crafts the 1st Friday or Saturday of each month from 1 - 4 p.m. for the Safety Orientation Course. Cost is only $20 per person. For more information, contact Wood Crafts at 247-5189 or stop by for a visit.
OAP SCUBA Diving Class
Interested in learning the exciting sport of SCUBA Diving? The Outdoor Adventure Program located inside Outdoor Recreation is holding a New SCUBA Diving Class. There will be four classroom sessions, four pool sessions, and two final open water sessions. Cost is only $210 per person. For more information, call OAP at 247-5920.
Start Smart Golf & Baseball
Join Youth Sports this June with Start Smart Golf & Baseball. Registration will be May 6 - 31, and the sessions will be Jun. 24 - Jul. 8. Cost is only $45 per youth / per sport & FREE to PLAYpass holders. Call Youth Sports at 247-5603 for more information.
The Commanders Challenge
Join the Fitness Center for a FREE unit competition three event challenge May 23. There will be a 1.5 mile run, obstacle course and fire truck pull. In conjunction with SEG "101 Days". More surprise events to come. Call the Fitness Center at 247- 2791 for more information and to sign up.
Give Parents A Break (GPAB)
Give Parents A Break is FREE for qualifying parents with a referal. GPAB is once a month on Saturday from noon - 4 p.m. for active duty Air Force families only. The June GPAB will be held on Jun. 8. For more information, contact the CDC at 247-2403 or the Youth Center at 247-5601.
Youth Programs Summer Day Camp
School is almost out!! Do you know where your child (currently enrolled in the first through sixth grade) will be this summer? Well, the Fairchild Youth Center has a fun and safe Summer Camp for you. Summer Camp will include a variety of fun sports and games, creative activities and trips. Contact the Youth Center at 247-5601 for details.
Parents Night Out (PNO)
Parents Night Out is held once a month on Fridays from 6:30 - 10 :30 p.m. for only $20 per child. The June PNO will be held on Jun. 21. For more information, contact the Child Development Center at 247-2403, the Youth Center at 247-5601 or come by for a visit.
FREE Deployed Give Parents A Break
Families with a deployed member can receive FREE child care with a referral during Deployed Give Parents A Break. DGPAB is held once a month on Fridays from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. The June DGPAB will be held on Jun. 21. For more information, contact the CDC at 247-2403 or the Youth Center at 247-5601.
Gift Certificates are available
Gift certificates have now been replaced by a gift card system. You can pick up and use your Gift Card in any of these NAF MWR activities: Arts & Crafts, Auto Hobby, Child Development Center, Clear Lake Resort, FamCamp, Fitness Center, Funspot, ITT, Outdoor Recreation, Tanker Tails, Wood Craft, and Youth Center.
PlayPASS Extended
The PLAYpass Program provides deployed-affected Single Airmen and Air Force Families respite from the challenges of deployment. Single Airmen returning from deployment and families of deployed members can receive special discounts and rewards. For more information, contact A&FRC at 247-2246.
